Chef Dan Giroux has been in the hospitality industry for 27 years, as he starts his third season with us at Prestwick Village. Having a background in country clubs, Chef understands member service, making it his primary focus. Working in kitchens around the world, Chef Dan accumulated many awards from his diverse culinary styles including “Chef of the Year” in 2002 from the American Culinary Federation in the Flint/Saginaw Valley Chapter. Having fun in the kitchen is vital to his success, he believes having a personal touch is a key element to the member experience while dining. When Chef is not in the kitchen, he enjoys spending time with his son, Sebastian, hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling.

From weddings, member events, to daily service in the Turnberry Grille, Michelle Leduc’s energetic and positive attitude makes the experience unforgettable at Prestwick. A graduate of Michigan State University, Michelle attributes her successes to the hospitality program and array of internships she enrolled in along the way. Starting as an intern at Prestwick, Michelle’s personality, work ethic, and dedication made her the perfect candidate to manage the food and beverage operation. An active member of the Club Managers Association of America, allows her to continuously be involved and evolve her knowledge in the industry.
