Pleased to welcome Shane Pringle, our General Manager. A Michigan native that found his way back home after 12 years in the hospitality and country club industry down south. From the Island of Hilton Head, South Carolina to the Gulf Coast of Florida, Shane has managed many facets of the privately owned club sector. He is eager to continue his career in his hometown with wife Nicole, and two kids, Emma and Connor.

A 19 year employee of Prestwick, Connie Sikma is well rounded as she has enjoyed working in many areas of the club while establishing relationships with the members along the way. Married to a wonderful husband for 32 years, she has been blessed with 4 kids and 5 grandkids. An avid world traveler, her most memorable time is spent with family on the beaches of Palau while photographing the diverse cultures.

A Northwood University graduate with a degree in Fashion Marketing & Management, Sydney Nestor used to her talents and positive work ethic in the pro shop as the Merchandise Manager for seven years. Now, starting her eighth season as the Membership and Marketing Coordinator, utilizing her past experiences to understand and continue service amongst the membership. She is most proud of her involvement as the Vice Chair of the Northwood University Style Show and awarded Transfer Student of the Year in 2015. Sydney is happily engaged to her fiancé, Austin.

Chef Dan Giroux has been in the hospitality industry for 27 years, as he starts his third season with us at Prestwick Village. Having a background in country clubs, Chef understands member service, making it his primary focus. Working in kitchens around the world, Chef Dan accumulated many awards from his diverse culinary styles including “Chef of the Year” in 2002 from the American Culinary Federation in the Flint/Saginaw Valley Chapter. Having fun in the kitchen is vital to his success, he believes having a personal touch is a key element to the member experience while dining. When Chef is not in the kitchen, he enjoys spending time with his son, Sebastian, hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling.

From weddings, member events, to daily service in the Turnberry Grille, Michelle Leduc’s energetic and positive attitude makes the experience unforgettable at Prestwick. A graduate of Michigan State University, Michelle attributes her successes to the hospitality program and array of internships she enrolled in along the way. Starting as an intern at Prestwick, Michelle’s personality, work ethic, and dedication made her the perfect candidate to manage the food and beverage operation. An active member of the Club Managers Association of America, allows her to continuously be involved and evolve her knowledge in the industry.

With experience that is second to none, Superintendent Eric Davey’s knowledge and precision for the grounds shows in the pristine presentation of the course. His background from Michigan State University in Soil Science and past experiences at top known facilities such as TPC Sawgrass were stepping stones to his continued education in the turf industry. While understanding and prepping facilities to host events such as U.S. Senior Open, U.S. Women’s Amateur, and numerous PGA Tour Events proves the success of Eric work abilities. An avid golfer, Eric’s skill set and level of performance is recognized as a two time Golf Course Superintendent State Champion. Happily married to wife, Kelly and father of two boys, Payne and Connor.

Brent Goulding

Starting his fifteenth season, Brent Goulding’s passion for golf is evident in his work ethic and high energy here at Prestwick Village. As a former colligate golfer at Virginia Commonwealth and Eastern Michigan University, Brent has been around the game his whole life, receiving many honors along the way. Some including, Mid-American Conference Men’s Golf All Conference, NCAA Academic Athletic All American 1999 and 2000, holding the course record at Prestwick Village shooting 63 from the blue tees in August of 2014, played in the 2014 PGA Professional National Championship, and played in the 2014 PGA Fuller Cup. With a background in education, Brent strives to help his students with more than just their game, furthering his skill set, Brent is Certified Level 1 & 2 Titleist Performance Institute Golf Instructor, Certified Level 2 Titleist Performance Institute Golf Coach, and Certified Level 2 Titleist Performance Institute Power Coach. Brent resides in Fowlerville with his wife Corie, and three daughters, Raya, Brynn, and Karis.

Drew Slade, graduate of Ferris State’s Golf Management Program, has been a Class A PGA Professional since 2009. Working in both private and public sectors adds to his diverse experience in the golf industry. Married for three years, Drew and wife Amanda welcomed their first child, Payton Victoria into the world on January 8th, 2016. Drew looks forward to his second season at Prestwick Village and building relationships with members.
